Conference on Transport Connectivity in the Adriatic-Ionian Region: Corridor Western Balkans – Eastern Mediterranean

The Croatian Presidency of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region is organising an EUSAIR Conference on transport connectivity in the Adriatic-Ionian region, on 25 April 2024 in Zagreb.

As one of the main challenges in transport connectivity of the Adriatic-Ionian region, Croatia highlights the further development of the original Adriatic-Ionian transport route. Within the framework of this conference, Croatia will seek to encourage further discussion on this important multimodal corridor, with the aim of defining guidelines for its establishment.

Additionally, in view of the current revision of the TEN-T Regulation and the establishment of the new Western Balkans – Eastern Mediterranean corridor, this conference will aim to present the new corridor and planned infrastructure projects on it.
